Cooling Nanorotors by Elliptic Coherent Scattering

چکیده
Simultaneously cooling the rotational and translational motion of nanoscale dielectrics into quantum regime is an open task great importance for sensing applications superposition tests. Here, we show that six-dimensional ground state can be reached by coherent-scattering with elliptically polarized shaped optical tweezer. We determine rates steady-state occupations in a realistic setup discuss mechanical fundamental experiments.
